Why I love using a roller, and its benefits

What is rolling?Rolling is aform of self-myofascial release and self-massage. I started using a roller over 10 years ago and it’s been a game changer for myself for many reasons. First reason is that it’s hands down the best deep tissue massage you’re going to get at home, and the best part is you can roll as hard or soft as you want because you’re the one in control. Rolling at first will seem awkward, painful or maybe it won’t feel like anything, which may mean you are not rolling correctly. For the most part, you will figure out what you like or don’t like. Rolling increases blood flow to your muscles and creates better mobility and will improve your sports performance or day to day life. You will want to roll for about 2 minutes for each muscle but you will know when you’re done or need some more. You can over roll so try to not overdo it.
